Thanks in part to the continuing loyalty of sponsors and players, and the selling‐out of many events, the 2011 World Partnership Golf tournaments raised over $1.5 million, adding to the $7 million raised since their start in 2000.

World Partnership Golf was launched nationally in 2000 by
Aga Khan Foundation Canada as a fun and engaging way for Canadians to raise funds and awareness about international development initiatives that help poor and vulnerable communities in Africa and Asia.
